Old Students Award Scholarships To Indigent Kaduna Students

Old students under the aegis of the 1974 Class of Kaduna Capital School has awarded scholarship to indigent students of the school.

Chairman of Board of Trustees, Suleiman Adamu, who is also the Minister of Water Resources, made this known at the ‘Class of 74’s Annual General Meeting and the launch of album and election of executive members at the Arewa House, Kaduna.

Adamu said, “The decision of the old students was aimed at ensuring that brilliant students, who could not pay their school fees, were not denied the opportunity of benefiting quality education.

“We realised that the standard of the school is being raised by the state government, the fees have been increased, we will get bright students who cannot pay their school fees and we will sponsor them.”

The newly elected president of the KCS 74 Class, Benjamin Ajepe, said, “If we stop looking at things from ethic and religion, sentiments we will move forward.”
