Jaba Chairmanship Election: Benjamin Jock, Emerges Winner

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the just concluded Jaba Local Government Election, Honourable Benjamin Jock, has emerged the winner of the poll. 

Honourable Benjamin, who was the immediate past local Government chairman of Jaba LG, was reelected, after securing 13,953 of the votes cast, defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party who had 9,123 votes.

In his acceptance speech, he said, "All honour and glory is returned to God Almighty for seeing us through another democratic process as we succefully conducted another free, fair and peaceful LG elections in our history as a peace loving people of Jaba LG. May His Holy name forever be magnified and glorified for graciously granting such a peaceful process.
 Record is again set in our council as you,  the great people of Jaba LG decided through the ballot to return me , Hon. Benjamin Jock as the Executive Chairman of our dear LG, Jaba for the second term.
Therefore, I wish to express my profound gratitude to my campaign team, my great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the entire good people of Jaba LG for demonstrating yet another uncommon spirit of love and solidarity for my candidature by ensuring that I emerge victorious. I am indeed indebted to you all for your sacrifices. May God reward you accordingly. 
My gratitude also goes to our major stakeholders at the local government and the state levels, most especially, His Excellency,  Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State and his Deputy, our amiable mother,  Her Excellency Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarebe for given us their blessings which equally contributed to our success. May God Lord continue to enrich you for your services and sacrifices to humanity.
Equally, I wish to appreciate the security operatives, traditional and religious leaders, the electoral empire and the entire good people of Jaba LG for ensuring that  the exercise was conducted in a free, fair and peaceful atmosphere. We appreciate your individual and collective contributions during the entire process. I pray  that such supports and cooperation would be sustained and replicated in our subsequent electoral processes.
My appreciation would not be complete if I fail to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of my co-contestants at the polls . In fact, you gave a good fight but victory is from God. To me,  there is no victor nor vanquished in this exercise as I dedicate this victory to God Almighty and the entire good people of Jaba LG. Therefore, I wish to call on us in the spirit of brotherhood to bury our differences and come together to work for the  common good of Jaba LG as my administration would  sustain her open door policy. 
Once again, thank you so  much for yet another opportunity to pilot the affairs of our dear LG while pledging  to unveil my second term agenda  in no distant time. God blesses you all.
