Panic As Lere LG Party Excos Suspends PDP Chieftain Few Days To By-Election

The Lere Local Government Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party in consultation with the Ward Executive Committees across the Local Government, has Suspended the State Deputy Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Lawal Nuhu Kayarda, few days to the forthcoming Lere Federal Constituency by-election.

His Suspension came after the committee discussed and weighed the implications of the alleged activities of Ibrahim Lawal Nuhu Kayarda ranging from:
• Unilateral changes and replacement of the names of Ward Executives
• Sitting in Kaduna and concocting the 3 ad-hoc delegate list for the primary election of the bye-election scheduled for 14th August, 2021
• The instigation of members against each other
• The deliberate sidelining of loyal party members
• Double standard in every conduct of his affairs in relation to the party
• Midwifing the sharing of one single form by two aspirants thereby depriving the party of revenue and many other sins too weighty to be revealed.
"We are more than convinced that the road to progress and electoral victory for the PDP in Lere Local Government is to suspend Ibrahim Lawal Nuhu Kayarda, the alleged State Deputy Chairman for six months hoping that he will retrace his steps, and he is hereby suspended. The Local Government Executive Committee will however subject him under close observation until we are fully satisfied of his remorsefulness," says the committee, in a letter signed by Hon. Ado Maiwada, made available to Kaduna Political Affairs.
