"I Remain An APC Member," Ekene Adams Clears The Air, Tells His Supporters To Sheathe Their Swords

Philanthropist, Politician and business Mogul, Hon. Ekene Adams in a press conference on Friday stated that he remains a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, despite being disqualified from contesting the party's primary election. He urged his supporters who threatened to set ablaze their APC membership cards to sheathe their swords, stating that he has embraced the outcome of the aptitude test in good fate. He commeded the Governor of Kaduna State, mallam Nasir El-Rufai for setting the pace, adding that the aptitude test conducted for aspirants is a welcomed development.
Addressing Newsmen, he said, "I remain an APC member despite being disqualified. I told my supporters to remain in APC and to vote for the candidate of their choice, we'll support whoever emerge victorious. I'm in support of the Governor's policies, the aptitude test is one of them. The Governor has good intentions that was why things happened this way. What he wants is the best for the state, so i can't dispute it just because it did not favour me. The state Government sacked more than 20 thousand Local Government workers for not upgrading their educational status, so adopting me with a secondary school certificate would have gone against the standard the governor is trying to set. So for me, it's a wake up call. Instead of fighting the outcome of the aptitude test, I'll take it as a challenge and upgrade my educational status. I don't do anti party, that is why I'm still in APC, I'll try my best to see that the party emerge victorious in the forthcoming Local Government Election. I take the outcome of the aptitude test in good fare, and i urge my supporters to do the same."
