Don’t address bandits as criminals, says Sheikh Gumi

Popular Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has advised that bandits should not be referred to as criminals if Nigerians want them to put down their weapons.
Gumi said the bandits should be treated with nice words and made to see that they are Nigerians and also part of the society.
The cleric who has been meeting with bandits and seeking to end their activities gave the advice during an interview with Arise TV.
He said, “Even the press are criminals too because they are putting oil into fire. These people are listening to you. You don’t address them as criminals if you want them to succumb. Youths are ready to put down their weapons. Now, they hear you calling them criminals, how do you want them to cooperate?
“So, you have to show them that they are Nigerians, that they should not hurt children and that they should be law-abiding. This is the language we want to hear (from) the press in assisting us in getting the boys.
“When we talk to them with nice wordings, they are ready to put their weapons down, they are ready to listen to us. But when the language is about criminality, about kill them, jail them, then this is what we end up having.”
Gumi stated that the issue has become a nationwide problem, pointing out that a group in the Niger Delta has started agitation.
“You can see the Niger Delta people have already started coming out too to threaten the nation. So, it’s a nationwide problem we have with the youths taking weapon because it gives them a false sense of authority, importance,” he said.
The cleric said the bandits should be listened to, adding that “the language of criminality should be struck out.”
When asked if he believes anybody that kills, rapes, kidnaps and robs people is a criminal, Gumi said “he’s a criminal.”
“But let me show you one thing. If you are stopped by armed robbers on the road, this word criminal, you will not use it on them. You will tell them good things, obey them so that you will save yourself,” he added.

"I will deal with Southern Kaduna people so that anywhere they see me they will not play with me,” inspector allegedly says, as he arrests Southern Kaduna Youths

A complainant, Tony Duch, on Wednesday told the Independent Investigative Panel on Allegations of Human Rights Violations by the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad how he and eight other suspects were unlawfully tortured, detained and imprisoned by the police because they were from Southern Kaduna.
A statement by the Head of Media, National Human Rights Commission, Fatima Mohammed, said Duch told the IIP-SARS that he and the other suspects knew nothing about allegations of conspiracy, assault and theft levied against them.
The counsel to the accused persons, Samuel Yusuf, informed the panel that on the day of the arrest of the suspects, a team of policemen came to their residential houses in Durumi area of Abuja and started shooting sporadically to their utter surprise.
He said, “Apart from the gunshots, arrests were made by the police and virtually all the people arrested were youths from Southern Kaduna, except few people from Idoma in Benue state.”
To prove his point, he said while the arrest was being made by the police, one Inspector Cornelius Agbo mentioned Southern Kaduna people as those he was targeting.
According to the complainant, Inspector Agbo stated that he will “deal with Southern Kaduna people so that anywhere they see him they will not play with him.”

Kaduna set to afford citizens, vulnerable groups, life of dignity

The State Focal Person on the Social Investment Programs, Mrs Saude Amina Atoyebi who disclosed this in a press statement on Monday, said that the launch will take place at the Council Chambers of Sir Kashim Ibrahim House but other guests will also take part virtually.
Mrs Atoyebi who praised Governor Nasir El Rufai for being one of the few states governors in the country to enact the policy recalled that the State Executive Council had earlier passed the Social Protection policy in August 2020, adding that Tuesday launch is to formally bring the policy into the public domain.
“The main goal of the policy is to ensure that residents of Kaduna State, particularly vulnerable groups, are afforded a life of dignity through programmes which are implemented in a fair and transparent manner,’’ she added.
Atoyebi thanked the State Steering Committee on Social Investments, with the support of Social Protection experts from Save the Children International and UNICEF, for fine-tuning the policy, despite the numerous challenges.
The statement also recognized the role of the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office which provided major technical support for the policy development through its Child Development Grant Programme.
The State Focal Person added that the final document had input from members of Civil society Organisations, beneficiaries, and vulnerable groups, traditional institutions, representatives from key MDAs in the state, and various stakeholders.
According to her, most of these key stakeholders will attend the launching ceremony, which will also be witnessed by senior government officials.
Atoyebi explained that the Social Protection Policy went through a robust engagement process with various stakeholders in order to have the people’s buy-in and input.
This policy is the foundation towards building an inclusive, robust, realistic, and well-coordinated Social Protection System that leaves no one below the minimum floor of economic and social well-being, ‘’ she said.
Atoyebi expressed optimism that residents of Kaduna State are provided with the needed social safety nets,  just as the state continues to ensure that the working-age population are able to live productive lives

2023: El-Rufai can never be Jonathan’s running mate, says Reno Omokri

A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, says Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, can’t run as Jonathan’s mate in the 2023 presidential election.

Omokri, however, said his former principal has no intention to run for president in 2023. He also said Jonathan has no plan to dump the People Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress.

Omokri spoke on Wednesday while featuring on a PUNCH Online interview programme, The Roundtable.

There have been political permutations and re-alignments amongst members of the PDP and the APC ahead of the 2023 general elections. There were also reports that El-Rufai, who would end his second term as Kaduna State governor in 2023, would be running with Jonathan but Omokri dismissed the report.

Jonathan, of the PDP, was Nigeria’s president between 2010 and 2015 when he lost his re-election to incumbent President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), of the APC. Buhari later won his second term in 2019 and is expected to be in power till 2023.

But of late, many APC stalwarts have been seen visiting the Abuja residence of Jonathan, who is constitutionally entitled to run for another term to complete his legally permissible two terms of eight years.

Speaking on the report that El-Rufai and Jonathan would be a pair in the next election, Omokri said, “They are trying to put that story out there to put pressure as to promote Nasir El-Rufai as a presidential candidate.

“I spoke to former President Jonathan just before this interview. That story is a lie, quote me. Nasir El-Rufai will be the last person if former President Jonathan is thinking of running, of which he is not even thinking of running.”

On the defection rumours, Omokri told The PUNCH that Jonathan has always been a member of a political party all his life.
“The best judge of future behaviour is past behaviours. Former President Jonathan has been in one party all through his life. He is 63 years old and he doesn’t have that kind of history. He doesn’t have that kind of reputation. To the best of my knowledge, former President Jonathan is not leaving the People Democratic Party, He is a very loyal man just like me,” he said.

Kaduna Refinery To Resume Operations Q1 2023

The Kaduna Refinery is expected to resume operations by the first quarter of 2023 based on the refinery rehabilitation programme progress and timeline, the Managing Director, Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) Engr. Ezekiel Osarolube said on Monday.
Osarolube said the target is to achieve 90 per cent capacity utilization post-rehabilitation, which will increase in-country refining capacity and significantly reduce petroleum products importation, thereby saving the country’s foreign reserves.
Kaduna Refinery, which was commissioned in 1980 had sustained operations up until 2017 when a major plant failure occurred. The plant according to the MD had only operated for nine days in June 2019 until the available crude oil in the refinery was exhausted.
On the rehabilitation progress, he said: “By our current timeline, we hope to come back by the first quarter of 2023 but like I said, what will take that long is that we need to place an order for some items that will take up to 12 months to manufacture otherwise, fixing these things back when the materials are on ground is a short time. By our current timeline, the first quarter of 2023 is the time we hope to come back in operation.”
The co-chairmen of the National Assembly Joint Committee on Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB), Senator Sabo Mohammed Nakudu and Mohammed Tahir Monguno, after the inspection, expressed disappointment that such a grand edifice had been left comatose for years.
Monguno said the current state of the facility further reinforces the need for legislators to pass the PIB with the speed of light.
“Revamping of the facility will generate a lot of multiplier effect on the economy by way of creating employment opportunities and business opportunities.”

Nigeria Has Highest Number Of Poor People In The World - El-Rufai

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State says Nigeria has the highest number of poor people in the world.
El-Rufai made the remark at the launch of the Social Protection Agency in the state on Tuesday.
26.8m poor Nigerians registered so far — FG
He said his government established the agency to ensure that all social protection programmes are delivered in an integrated, inclusive and sustainable manner.
El-Rufai said the social register must be used for programmes designed to assist the poor.
He also asked the country to drop the idea of giving slots of programmes meant for the poor to the rich and powerful.
“Nigeria is going through trying times. We have the largest number of poor people than any country in the world. Yet, whenever a programme is designed to help the poor and vulnerable, we resort to a slot mentality in which important people are allocated slots instead of targeting those poor and vulnerable that deserve it.
“This is unfortunate. We must move away from slot mentality and use our social register to offer targeted support to those that truly need it,” he said.
He appealed to the political elite to “please drop this slot mentality” and use the social register, so that, programmes meant for the vulnerable can get to them.

Bandits Set Catholic Church Ablaze In Kaduna, Kill Father, Son

Bandits have attacked a church and two houses in Kikwari community in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, setting fire to the structures.
It was learnt that the bandits also attacked Baka village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, in a fresh onslaught where they murdered a father and his son.
The Kaduna Government identified the church as the Holy Family Catholic Church, saying on receiving the report, Governor Nasir El-Rufai commiserated with the community and condemned the burning of the place of worship.
“He charged worshippers to remain strong in their faith and devotion, and see it as an act perpetrated by enemies of peace, humanity, and diversity who will not succeed but will be defeated by the grace of God,” a statement on Sunday said.
It was learnt that the bandits also abducted nine people in the community which recorded its second attack within eight days.
The bandits attacked the residence of one Dan’azumi Musa who was killed; they also killed Dan’azumi’s brother, Sale Musa, and his son, Amiru Sale Musa.
The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said the bandits had initially abducted 22 people from the community but troops based in the Sabon Birni area engaged them and rescued 13 captives in the process.
Aruwan, however, stated that at the time the 13 victims were rescued, another group of bandits escaped with a set of nine hostages, mostly women, and children.
He said those in captivity were Saudatu Garba, Laraba Idris, Auta Mansur, Ibrahim Danlami, Hauwa Sale, Fatima Idris, Safara Sale, Shafaatu Idris (infant), and Fiddausi Mansur (infant).
The commissioner said El-Rufai had conveyed his grief over the repeated attacks and condoled with the family of the slain father and son while offering prayers for the repose of their souls.
He said El-Rufai also commended the troops for their quick response and thanked them for the safe rescue of 13 victims.
The commissioner added that El-Rufai had directed the state emergency management agency to urgently assess the damage done and take appropriate actions while security agencies will sustain patrols in the area.

Youths should come together and chase old men like me out of politics –El-Rufai

Kaduna State Government, Nasir El-Rufai, on Friday, called on youths, corporate professionals and religious leaders to join active politics to contribute their quota and make the country work.
The governor spoke in Victoria Island in Lagos at ‘Radio Now’s Urgent Conversation’ with the theme, ‘The Fierce Urgency Of Now: Tactics And Strategies To Pull Nigeria From The Brink’.

According to him, the country’s best minds must quit criticisms and come into mainstream politics to drive Nigeria’s development journey. That is the only way they can “chase out old men like me and take over,” he said.
El-Rufai also said protests or activism will not take anybody anywhere until “good people” surrender themselves for public service and endure the humiliation associated with serving fatherland.
He said, “Good people must offer themselves for public service and suffer the indignity that we all suffer every day, we get abused, we get insulted, we get accused but we must have our best people in public service, we must have our bet people in politics; we should not have them in banks, in telecom companies, in oil companies, in civil societies protesting. Protesting will take you nowhere unless you have a seat at the table. The most important table is that political table.
“I got into government in a technocratic way, I didn’t get into government to be appointed minister because of politics. I was appointed because the President liked me and thought I could do the job. But I realised after that, politics trumps everything.
“So, my call to Nigerians is if you want to see better governance, be part of the selection process of those that offer themselves for public service and politics. And the only way to do so is to join political parties and be active and influence the leadership that emerges in the political parties which usually influences the leadership that are offered for election. There is no other way, there is no shortcut to it.
“I appeal to young Nigerians, comfortable Nigerians –because public service pay is very poor. So, comfortable Nigerians should leave what they are doing; the pastors and imams that have made money, the bankers, the telecoms guys, leave that thing, come and make Nigeria work, because if it doesn’t work, you will not sleep at night no matter how much money you have made.
“I believe that there is hope, I believe if we have more and more young people, we have five million of them attaining the age of 18 every year, they can come and overwhelm the parties and chase out old men like me and take over but they must come; they cannot stand by the side lines and keep criticising.
“Solutions are what this country needs and you can only propose this solution, fight for them in the system.”

Rt. Hon. Jagaba Adams Jagaba Remains a Committed PDP Member, Bulus Chigwa Clears The Air

Bulus Audu Chigwa, an ally to Hon. Jagaba Adams Jagaba, has said that the news going round that Honourable Jagaba Adams Jagaba is planning to defect to the ruling party is totally false and mischievous. He added that it is the work of his opponents, who are jealous and trying to bring down his rising political profile by all means. "Honourable Jagaba Adams Jagaba remains a member of the PDP and one of the strongest contestants in the 2023 Southern Kaduna Senatorial election," he said.

"News going round that Honourable Jagaba Adams Jagaba is planning to defect to the ruling party is totally false and mischievous. It is the work of his opponents, who are jealous and trying to bring down his rising political profile by all means. Let it be known that he is a man who was at the Hallowed Chamber of the Federal House of Representatives for 12 years, as such he has friends in both the ruling and opposition parties who are holding lucrative positions in the present government. So linking him to defection because he is in the company of his former colleagues is nothing but an attempt to deny him his basic right of association, as guaranteed by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Honourable Jagaba Adams Jagaba remains a member of the PDP and one of the strongest contestants in the 2023 Southern Kaduna Senatorial election.
Let's support him to win election as a Senator in 2023," he wrote.

"As far as the law is concerned, there is no SIECOM Body in Kaduna State," Says Kaduna PDP, as they reject Local Government Elections time table

Our attention has been drawn to a purpoted Local Government elections in Kaduna State, notice and time table, by the Kaduna State Electoral Commission,KADSIECOM.

The "Overseer"and his cohorts, have no legal power to convene such meeting(s), as it is not duly constituted by the combined effect of Section 197 (b) of the 1999 Constitution, as amended, and the 3rd schedule of the constitution, which clearly states the powers of the State Independent Electoral Commission.

It is only a duly constituted State Electoral Commission that can give such notice(s), as in the case of Kaduna State Electoral Commission whose membership is not complete and the "Overseer" is not recognised by the law.

Therefore, the notice issued, and any other act done by the "Overseer", is unconstitutional and cannot stand.

As far as the law is concerned, there is no SIECOM Body in Kaduna State, until such a time the membership of the Commission is properly constituted.

Thus, the People's Democratic Party,PDP, is calling on all its members and supporters to remain calm and focused, as this illegality cannot hold any water.

Finally, the party calls on the governor Nasir Elrufai led APC government, to be more proactive and live up to his constitutional responsibilities, by constituting a legally recognised electoral body, that would conduct Local Government elections in the Kaduna State, which would be recognised by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, says the PDP in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Alberah Catoh, made available to Kaduna Political Affairs.

El-Rufai vows to restore Kaduna to its past glory

Kaduna State Government is trying to restore the inclusivity and the togetherness of Kaduna town in order to make a home for all Nigerians as it used to be in the past.
Governor Nasir El Rufai who made this known during the commissioning of the Kaduna Nigerian Immigration Service Command Building said many great Nigerians lived in Kaduna.
The governor, however, lamented that the city is now divided due to the incessant communal clashes that occurred in the state in the last two decades.
‘’Kaduna used to be home for all Nigerians, many great people lived their lives here. Some came here to go to school, some came just to attend the Defence Academy or Police College but it was such a hospitable and inclusive city that many have chosen to remain.
‘’Many of the retired generals, Air Marshall, Rear Admirals come back here to retire. Abuja has taken some of them, and the incessant communal clashes that divided the city have also discouraged some from coming back,’’ he noted.
El Rufai pointed out that many people have started returning because ‘’more and more people are beginning to regard Kaduna as a low-cost option to Abuja.’’
‘’We thank the Buhari administration for the train link that has made movement very easy and the ongoing work to reconstruct the Kaduna-Abuja road,’’ he added.

OPINION: HIJACKING OF PARTY REGISTRATION; The leadership of the All Progressives Congress should act before it is too late, By Othman Mohammed

The hijackings and maneuvering of the All Progressives Congress registration and revalidation exercise which took place in Jere Town, Kagarko LGA is alarming, tragic, barbaric and uncalled for.

It is quite obvious and uncivilized that some people whom have limits on participation in political party affairs  chooses to involve there dirty hands, dragging the party into the pitch during the exercise that never happened or partially took place.

Why will these civil servants who are supposedly to be abiding by ethical codes of conduct laid down by their employers be violating such agreements that could cause them their jobs?

On February 8th, 2021 registration materials for Jere was handed to Musa Muhammed a staff with NEMA, Ishaq The Supervisory Councilor For Jere, Abbas Yahaya (Junior) S.A to Hon. Nasara Rabo (LG Chairman) whom are not the main custodians of the party affairs in Jere but were given the items to execute an evil agenda that suits the Local Government Chairman's bias.

We left for Jere after we collected the registration forms allocated to us in company of the above mentioned persons but immediately they speed up and divert to an unknown location, coincidentally another car left far behind noticed their turn-back and began to follow them, when they noticed their plans has been bursted they turned and head to Jere.

After Police had supervised the allocation of materials, they unleashed another episode of drama that registration would stop at 4pm to be continued the next day by 8am, we all abide for our collective good unknown to us they had a PLAN B.

Up till now the above mentioned people and the registration materials are no where to be found, when we dig into, some reports reaching us is that they used the whole night registering their kingsmen at Shehu Accountant residence, disenfranchising the large population their rights to join the Progressives party.

The party leadership should quickly consider issuing new forms to all political wards and polling units in Jere and assigning new supervisors to monitor the process, while condemning this evil act.

OPINION: Take it or leave it, Hon. Ekene Adams has succeeded in Making APC to become attractive in Chikun Local Government, By Bulus Audu

Dear Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams,  Your hard work, zeal, and dedication was not is vain. The ongoing APC registration and revalidation exercise has in deed proving that when zeal, dedication and hard work are applied positive results is inevitable. The results have been massive.
One might wonder why such huge success most especially in Chikun local government area where it is widely believed to have zero love and tolerance for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, the answer is simple, a coach who knows the rules of the game, Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams is at the helm of affairs.
His recent return to the progressives family is indeed a development of high esteemable value. The people's mind set has taking a new shape through his various engagements with them through out the periods leading to this revalidation exercise. His tracks of activities has shown the people that hope is not lost only their perception towards the government of the day should change.
A sensitization rally which saw the Honourable walk with his foot round romi, yelwa wards also gave the people hope and sense of belonging.
If not Hon. Ekene Adams, how many APC Politicians can comfortably hold a rally and walk round Ungwan Yelwa and Ungwan Romi without being harassed? Ekene is obviously loved.  It is obvious that his followers are willing to follow him to any Political Party.
I could remember an aged mother within the age of 70 whom he stopped to talk to said to him "yaro na Allah sa maka albarka shuagabane irin ka muke so".
Another striking force for the magnitude of results achieved is the ongoing empowerment program initiated by the Honorable and his hard working empowerment team who denied themselves comfort moving from one ward to the other putting smiles on the faces of the people.
Truly, a coach who knows the rules of the game is at the helm of affairs, speaking to the people and giving them reasons why they should support the government and its officials.
You don't sleep at home and expect results neither do you hold back your resources and expect to achieve anything.
Results are products of sacrifices, both in cash, time and forfeiting your comfort zone. Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams has sacrificed all and the outcome is obviously positive, APC now have a positive face in Chikun local government, what a magnificent achievement, kudos sir.
Take it or leave it, Hon. Ekene Adams has made APC to become attractive in Chikun local Government, and that's something that seemed impossible in the past. One thing I've learnt after studying Hon. Ekene's movements is that nothing is impossible. With hardwork and dedication, there is nothing that is unachievable. I'm now not surprised that the man is successful. He is a goal getter. Someone who takes drastic measures to achieve whatever he sets his mind on. Hon. Ekene Adams is obviously an asset and a blessing, not just to the All Progressives Congress alone, but to the people of his constituency.

El-Rufai lacks understanding of security issues – Ganduje

The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has faulted the recent comment by his Kaduna State counterpart, Nasir El-Rufai, on the security situation in the North-West region.

El-Rufai had stated on the BBC Hausa Service that lack of synergy among governors of the North-West was hampering security efforts in the region.

However, speaking on Radio France International and monitored in Kano on Thursday by our correspondent, Ganduje said El-Rufai might not understand the security efforts put in place by the governors of the area.

According to Ganduje, security agencies in the country have advised Kano, Kaduna and Bauchi states to collaborate and check the security challenges in the notorious Falgore forest in the Tudun Wada and Doguwa local government areas of Kano State.
The governor stated, “The issue of lack of synergy does not arise in this context, because security agencies have advised us to come and meet with Kano, Kaduna and Bauchi states to see how the activities of bandits in the Falgore forest can be contained.
“I intimated both governors of Kaduna and Bauchi. Both have sent their delegations.
“There was the issue of funds. Kano, Kaduna and Bauchi states have all donated their funds and the exercise was eventually successful.

“The way I see it, the governor (El-Rufai) did not understand security issues well because the security situation depends on the nature of a state. For instance, no matter how we strongly collaborate as governors, how should we check ethnic clashes in Kaduna? How should we check religious differences in Kaduna? You see, this is a problem that can only be checked by the Kaduna State Government itself.
“Therefore, any security issue in a state depends on the efforts of the state government, the Federal Government, the security agencies and the people of the state.
“For instance, in Kano, we have a harmonious working relationship with security agencies. We have state-of-the-art security gadgets. In the Dansoshiya forest, we are building houses to accommodate Fulani herders in a bid to stop them from grazing in the southern parts of the country.
“In the Falgore forest, there is an ongoing project of a military training camp. In the project, there is a provision for areas where Fulani herders will be accommodated. We, therefore, have this plan long ago.”
Ganduje added, “We have enough places to accommodate Fulani herders in the Dansoshiya and Falgore forests. To restrict them to those places in order to prevent them from grazing in the southern part of the country is the only panacea for the lingering crises.
“There are three categories of Fulani. There are Fulani, there are herders and there are foreign Fulani herders, who commit crimes.
“It is often forgotten that there are foreigners among those Fulani herders, but nobody is talking about them. The moment a foreign Fulani herder infiltrated Nigeria and commits a crime, he will be considered a Nigerian Fulani. Therefore, it is high time to ban them from entering Nigeria.”

"APC does not cajole, persuade or buy anyone into registering as its member, results they say silence every form of argument," APC replies Kaduna PDP

We read with great amusement the press release purportedly signed and shared by the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP. It is laughable that the PDP as an opposition have continually rejected growth and advancement.

They are always in opposition without new ideas, innovation and modernity. As such, nothing good or exceptional will ever come out from the Party. We therefore rhetorically ask: can anything good come out of PDP?

In their long epistle of lies, PDP claimed that the All Progressive Congress (APC) is luring new members to register and revalidate their membership; and that they are giving monetary and material gifts to cajole PDP members to decamp and join the APC. This is totally false, baseless and unfounded.

Sadly, PDP has always been a Party for the highest bidder. They place more value on monetary gratification than on meaningful ideas and development. They have monetized politics in Nigeria. To them, the World  revolves around how much money one has accumulated or stolen; and not how much one can contribute to national growth.

The APC membership revalidation and registration exercise was an idea conceived by the Governor  Mai-Bala Buni-led Caretaker Committee. It is done simply to further democratize the party by empowering the ordinary Party members. This is aimed at giving them a voice and to co-opt them into the decision making process of the Party. We then ask what is the place of a common member in PDP? They are always considered for ballot-box snatching/stuffing, political thuggery, or conflict entrepreneurs.

Since the inception of PDP there has never been a time where the internal selection process of its standard bearer/candidates was done through direct primaries. Selection of candidates has always been carried out by a group of old, greedy, selfish and non-retiring politicians, masquerading themselves as delegates. PDP lacks internal democracy; and the will of the majority is always submerged by the desire of a selfish few.

APC does not cajole, persuade or buy anyone into registering as its member. Results, they say, silence every form of argument. The Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai-led administration is a result-driven and result oriented administration. Kaduna has never had it so good with a growing revenue base, unrivalled urban and rural renewal projects, massive infrastructural development, hospitals and schools are being renovated, more markets are built, foreign direct investment of about 2 Billion Dollars, number one State in the ease of doing business in Nigeria, industrialization drive and more jobs for all. It was not as good as this when PDP earned much from the sells of crude oil.

APC in Kaduna State is the Party to join. In this administration, young energetic, idea-driven youth have been incorporated into governance, bearing forth excellent results, This was not the case during the 16 years of PDP's misrule. No wonder, their yesterday's men have held tight to power, denying and refusing the youth their place in governance and party leadership.

We dare the PDP to come out and show the world their Party register, how many registered members they have, and when they last registered new members. The PDP we know does not have a record of its registered members. They are leaving in self-denial and deceit.

We know that the last since the last 6 years that Nigerians voted them out of power, they have been traumatized and frustrated.

One thing stands clear in Kaduna State: there is no opposition party. What we have is an assembly of internally displaced power mongers, struggling for survival, says Kaduna APC, in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Salisu Tanko Wosono, made available to Kaduna Political Affairs.
